Online Auction News!!

Muddy Brook’s annual online auction is quickly approaching and we need your help. The auction occurs online through the site Bidding For Good and runs for 10 days beginning right before Thanksgiving break and ending in December. It requires a lot of work but it generates more money for the PTA than any other fundraiser we hold. We can usually count on the auction to bring in around $10,000, which is key for funding field trips, teacher grant requests, and school residency programs.

There are two ways you can get involved with the auction. The first is to volunteer. We need volunteers to call and follow-up with donation requests. We need runners to pick-up donations and we need support uploading items to the auction website. Send us a message, muddybrookpta@gmail.com if you can help with one of these roles.

The second way is to donate an item or service to the auction. Right now we’re collecting items of all kinds. If you have something you can donate through your work (a gift certificate or service), or can make something to donate, or have a gently used item you think someone else would bid on, please fill out the Auction Form and return it to school with your child by October 30, 2016.

Our Mission


The mission of the Muddy Brook PTA is to positively impact the lives of all children and families by developing and enhancing the role of parents and community in the education of our students. We bring home and school closer together so that parents and teachers may work cooperatively for the welfare and education of our children.

The Muddy Brook PTA acts as a forum for the exchange of ideas between parents, teachers, and community members to help support and enrich the lives of students at Muddy Brook. If we work together and give just a little of our time and talent, we can show our students that we all value the learning environment at Muddy Brook.
